We are proud to spotlight our Senior Analyst; Moe Karimzada remarkable achievement.
The project “Illuminating Invisible Histories: Flavours Without Borders” just won @museumsassociation’s Best Small Museum Project at the Museums Change Lives 2024 Awards.
Moe’s unique contribution bridges his professional expertise in catering analytics with deep community engagement. His involvement went far beyond mere consultation:
He featured in the exhibition’s documentary film and assisted the menu engineering and kitchen operations for the premiere, as well as contributing family artefacts representing their journey, to the exhibition. He actively championed the project’s mission.
This award recognises how food heritage can transform communities – perfectly aligning with our commitment to Hastings’ growth. As a business rooted in this vibrant town, we’re thrilled to see our team members driving positive change through culinary innovation and cultural exchange.
The @hastings_museum and @therefugeebuddyproject collaboration exemplifies how food traditions strengthen community bonds – something we witness in our work with local businesses and organisations.
We encourage all team members to dedicate time to community initiatives, believing that strong local connections enrich both our work and our town’s future.
Congratulations to all co-producers, participants, museum staff, and volunteers who made this groundbreaking project possible
